Hi Everyone,

Please don’t forget AGM next week. Sorry that I didn’t include directions—Salwarpe Village Hall is about 3/4 mile from A38 just south of Droitwich. From Droitwich take A38 towards Worcester, immediately before “Copcut” pub turn right towards Salwarpe. Go over railway bridge and continue straight on towards Salwarpe church, V H is on left hand side and committee room is round to the left of the building. From Worcester take A38 towards Droitwich, through Fernhill Heath, over traffic lights, down hill and up the other side—on brow of hill turn left towards Salwarpe immediately after “Copcut” pub. Proceed as above. For those who know where Oakley Farm Stables are, the turn to Salwarpe off  the A38 is opposite the turn into Pulley Lane.

DATE for your diary—END OF SEASON SUPPER—Sat 15th November at Galton Arms, Himbleton. All welcome—details shortly. Please watch web-site. There will be a raffle so start collecting prizes please!

Congratulations to the Mercian dressage team (Carole Hodgetts, Judith Cox, Julie Butterworth and Shirley Heath ). Shirley was individual 3rd and Julie 7th—well done both.

Next and final team competition of the season—Mercian Quiz. October 16th at Royal Oak, Broadwas---good fun evening—teams of 4---only one horsey round. Only 2  teams per club so let me know quickly if you would like to be in a team.

Your committee have all sorts of ideas for next season, some of which are listed below—please let us know your reactions to the following so that we know which ones to follow up!
Triathalon---equitation riding, shooting and running (or other ideas), Rules to suit the varied age structure of the club!!. Inter club. Training for shooting through the winter.
2day, week-end rally/camp,  possibly in conjunction with another club

Trailer driving, Exam training,, Pleasure ride, Lunging, Long reining. Any other ideas.
